so to me the definition of art is basically displayed in the form of a painting, drawing, sculpture, or in music at all. it is a way to express one's feelings or passions without always having to use words.
i think it includes a huge variety such as child's finger paintings, Beethoven songs, famous sculptures, and the list goes on. it excludes sloppy work i believe, but everyone has their own opinion and judgment so i would have to say its up to them what they think is and isn't art. it therefore depends on the person, society, beliefs, and personality for them to determine if something is art.
there can be beautiful art and ugly art and it all depends on the person's outlook.
